Is Credit Repair legal?
Yes! The credit bureaus, as well as creditors, are required to follow accuracy procedures before they can legally place any items on a credit report. In many cases they do not do this. We insure that the credit bureaus back up all of their claims of accuracy. Once an error is identified, if it can't be proven 100% accurate, the item must be removed. Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you are protected by your right to have this information verified.

How do we do this?
We start by examining your personal credit file held by each of the major credit reporting bureaus.
(TransUnion, Equifax and Experian)
Then, we identify any accounts that contain information that could be considered adverse. Next, upon the your request, we dispute all of the accounts that contain inaccurate, erroneous, or obsolete information on your behalf and have the accounts deleted or updated accordingly.

Each time we receive new updates from you, we continue to work on any negative accounts that might still remain.

Finally we consult with you on how to avoid future negative credit listings, while educating you with helpful tips on how to use the credit system to ones advantage and boost the credit scores.

How long will it take?
Your credit can be repaired in as little as
45 business days. All updates are mailed to you directly from each credit reporting agency. The packets you receive, includes a cover sheet stating all of the updates, along with a copy of your new credit report. The total time the repair process will take depends on the number of accounts that contain adverse information, in addition to how quickly you forward the results to us. We can determine the level of success you have received, by carefully reviewing the results and challenging additional inaccuracies.

Does paying off old bills repair my credit?
No! Many people think so. However, the credit reporting system does not work that way. When a client pays an old debt, the negative credit listing does not disappear. In fact, the date of last activity for that account is then updated to reflect the client's last payment which could further lower their credit score. Now, instead of that account reporting as a collection or charge-off, it simply updates to a paid collection or paid charge-off that is reported. In some cases, contacting the creditor or attempting to pay these old debts can even re-enact the statute of limitations and set you up for further collection attacks or even a lawsuit. BE CAREFUL!

Each individual's credit report is a history or "report card" of his or her credit experiences and it will continue to show past negative items. CommonWealth can work to repair your credit history and increase your creditworthiness.

How much does it cost to repair my credit?

CommonWealth believes that everyone should get a fair, honest price to have their credit repaired. We even have a "Special Limited time Offer" as heard on our radio ads - Call for details!!, Our Program includes repair of all three major credit bureaus.

Other companies charge thousands of dollars. Don't be tricked by their inflated pricing games or huge discount offers. Some try to get you on an endless monthly billing program, touting that it's better to only work on a couple of negative accounts per month. This tactic is very bad for the consumer. Reason: It is the best interest of that company to drag out the credit repair process as long as possible thus insuring they continually get to bill you each and every month. CommonWealth's program is different, we work to get your credit repaired as fast as legally possible so you can accomplish the goals you have in your life!

CommonWealth is a legitimate credit restoration company. WE get results, and WE will change your life!
